ST. LOUIS, MO - Many magnificent trees were downed less than a block from our house when an EF4 tornado ripped through on Good Friday last year (April 22, 2011). It damaged more than 2,700 buildings across seven townships in St. Louis County, leveled the Beaverton subdivision (1 mile west of us) and hit the St Louis airport (1 mile east of us).
